Choosing your two jars

• Lakadong Haldi, for everyday cooking. Single-origin turmeric from the West Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya, stone ground at low RPM
• Kali Haldi, for someone who likes something unusual. A different plant from yellow haldi, camphorous and bitter, used a pinch at a time in warm milk or kadha
• Swarna, for someone who will use it every evening. Lakadong haldi, kesar and nine spices for haldi doodh, half a teaspoon into warm milk
