Everyday atta, made the slow way
Atta is one of the most frequently used ingredients in an Indian kitchen. Yet, we rarely ask how it was processed.
At Shubhavni, we grind whole wheat at just 91 RPM on a natural-stone chakki. This slower process keeps grinding near ambient temperature, instead of exposing the flour to the higher temperatures associated with fast commercial grinding.
No additives. No bleaching. No heat processing. Just 100% whole wheat flour, treated with care from our stone to your kitchen.
From our stone to your kitchen
We were looking for the kind of atta we remembered eating at home. That search brought us back to traditional stone grinding, done slowly and with attention to the process.
There is no complicated story behind it. We wanted an atta we would be comfortable serving our own family, and then sharing with yours.
Who grinds your atta?
Led by women, run by women.
From cleaning and grinding to packing, every stage passes through the hands of rural women in Mainpuri who help run the mill and take responsibility for the process.
Shubhavni SmartFarms was featured by NITI Aayog for its saffron innovation. The same attention to process, purity and detail guides how we make our atta.
The NITI Aayog feature relates to Shubhavni’s saffron innovation and is not an endorsement or certification of this atta.
