- Sauth, 50 g. IngMakhir ginger from Meghalaya, stone ground. Bold aroma
- Jeera powder, 50 g. Cumin from Rajasthan, stone ground. Strong aroma and an earthy flavour
- Kuti Teekhi Mirch, 50 g. Guntur Teja chilli from Andhra Pradesh, pounded. Real heat and a bold flavour
- Dhaniya powder, 45 g. Coriander from Rajasthan, stone ground. Rich aroma with a light citrus note
- All six in glass jars, held in a fitted insert inside our yellow Satvik Spices box
Why this box is different
- Every jar is processed by us in Mainpuri. We buy the whole spice from where it grows best and do the rest ourselves
- Powders are stone ground slowly, so the heat does not carry off the oils that give each spice its smell
- Chillies are pounded, the old way, which keeps their colour and flavour in a way a fast grinder cannot
- Stainless steel contact surfaces, so no iron gets into the powder
- No colour, no fillers, nothing added
- Made by the 25 women who work with us in Mainpuri, from drying and cleaning to grinding, pounding and packing
Good for
- A kitchen that wants to replace its everyday spices with real ones, all at once
